Job loss over 50

It’s hopeless and it’s over for me I guess. This happened to my spouse and he has had only rejection letters and zero income for seven years. Now it’s my turn for no one to want me around anymore. May god help my children to survive henceforth.

it is hard but not impossible to get back into the job market.
I know I have a person in my life that is facing this. They are not having luck, but they also are trying for the top management jobs which they used to do. Sometimes people can find jobs that are different then you had.
Example I knew a lady who did temporary placement work. Many retail or other jobs look for older workers. it may be a cut in pay, but it can still have benefits and income.
