Looking for friends
Not sure where to start. I am looking for hopefully long time friends on here. I'm 35. Disabled so I have a hard time doing things. I also suffer from depression.
I also get attached easily and hurt easily which I'm working on.
When I'm not as depressed I like playing video games, drawing, watching tv. I do like going out, just prefer to go with friends.
As a friend I always try to be there.
I love animals, especially cats and foster them.
Right now I'm grieving my cat Hopper, and I feel so alone. I also realized I love hugs from people.
I've always been socially awkward, so I'm hoping to improve and even make friends near me down the line. (Not sure where to start near me if you know good places please let me know)

@Nkala Hi Nkala, I like most videogames. I play mostly Zelda, Harvest Moon games and Palia at the moment. I'd love to play the new animal crossing but not sure if I should wait and get the switch 2 first or not. The funds just aren't there yet. (I earn points to get giftcards so its slow going) What games do you like?
Never heard of Harvest Moon or Palia - what are those about?
I’ve been playing Ghost of Tsushima and Tomb Raider 4.
@Nkala Harvest Moon is a farming game, with crops and animals and you can get married in the game. Just a relaxing game. Palia is an online game that is free. You can farm, mine ore, build a house, take care of animals, and more. They are still updating it so who knows what else there will be.
I also played Tomb Raider! Not sure which ones, I know they were on pc. Never played Ghost of Tsushima but it looks fun!
Harvest Moon sounds relaxing! What are you farming? What animals are you taking care of?
I played the original Tomb Raider games as a kid, now I play them because they’re comforting and I like the puzzles (though it can get frustrating when you’re stuck). Sometimes I watch walkthroughs of the original games on YouTube to relax.
@Nkala It is! For farming it really depends which one as they have a lot of them out there. And which season you're in. My favorite is to grow strawberries as they are nice and bright. Or flowers but they don't normally sell for as much. I would love a real garden but animals near me keep stealing stuff. Not sure how farmers don't have that problem as I live in a town.
As for animals that also depends on which one. I think all of them have cows, sheeps, and chickens. Some have other things like goats, ostriches, ducks, llama's. You also get a horse in most or all of them. And some have pets. Such as a dog or cat. Or both! The one I'm playing even has pet penguins!
I love playing zelda for the same reason. Comforting with puzzles. Lol I see your point about the puzzles. I remember doing a hard puzzle for Tomb Raider on the pc. I was through I think a good portion of the game (it was my first time playing that one) but my pc crashed. It somehow lost the whole game save... So I had to start over and look up the puzzle as I had forgotten how to do it.
You could grow an indoor garden, maybe start by growing some spices?
I had that problem when I was a kid too! Would get so far in Tomb Raider but then the computer would crash. Really frustrating.
@Nkala Yeah I'm going to do a small indoor garden. Just have to cat safe it as my kitties will want to see.
Yeah, my pc is much better now than back then so I might try to play Tomb Raider again for old times sake.

The weather feels nostalgic , feels like a memory smiling back at me.
The sun feels warm, but not strong.
It touches your skin softly, like it doesn't wants to harm you ,
The breeze has it's odour of dryness, but there’s still a little cold in it.
Nd it reminds me dat the seasons are changing.
Autumn is still here but slowly loosing its grip.
The nights becoming shorter.
Days r getting longer as they used to be.
It's peaceful,
But you can feel something is shifting....
Not exactly sad.
Just aware that something
Is about to change.

I can’t get you out of my head.
I don’t know why you stay there.
It’s not a place meant for someone like you.
It’s dim. It’s tired.
It smells of things I never healed.
I’m afraid it will make you sick.
And if it does,
that weight will fall on me.
