Maladaptive daydreaming

Hi, I'm new here. So, i have the anxiety and fear that maladaptive daydreaming will come back, and the characters and the fantasies and all that stuff, and I'm thinking... Maybe i can calm my brain by letting it know that it's all over? That is, I'm in reality, i hot rid of triggers, i got rid from things that make me feel discomfort and stress, and the progress is really good! It's amazing. So... Maybe i can show it that maladaptive daydreaming won't bother me again because of what progress that i have? But I do know how... And should i do it? Because... You know... I think that it's the only way to finally feel at peace and live a life, because, I've tried so many things and it helped actually, but now, i think letting my brain know that the fantasies are gone and they will never bother me again will be a good idea? I don't know...

I'm glad you are in a better place.

And yes, it's good to remind yourself and train your brain, that you are in a better place now and this has indeed stopped 💜
