I hate investing time and effort into getting to know someone online only to be ghosted. No respect, no explanation. It's hard not to take it personally.

@neatBlueberry5213 I'm sorry to hear that about your experience with it. I hope you'll be able to find the right person that would want to talk with you more. I can imagine online dating can be difficult when trying to get to know newer people, and whether they are interested in responding back to you.

It is a very hard to date anymore .... live or online.....
the ghosting part is i find very few people with manners anymore to just say "hey you seem nice but i am looking for something else " i once talked with a person for a long time Online and my one request has been if you tire of chatting or something lets be adults and tell each other not ghost.
