Previous relationship messed me up
I recently met a man I really liked. We spoke on the phone twice and my conversation was so awkward both times. I realized I wasn't really participating in the conversation, I wasn't asking questions. It was like I was frozen and could not think straight. This man decided not to contact me again and I'm pretty sure he is not interested in pursuing a relationship with me.
I pondered about what happened to me in those moments and I realized that my last relationship has left me really insecure. The entire time I kept thinking that this person is too good for me, that if I tell him something about myself he's going to judge me and not like me. When The truth is that that may have happened but at least I would have been myself. In this scenario I feel worse because this person didn't even get to know the real me.
I also realize that I need to first work on myself and heal these wounds that I have. My confidence and self-worth has really taken a hit from the way my ex-treated me. I just feel kinda bummed that I didn't get a chance with this person because of my insecurities.

I know it's hard, but you onky had two conversations with this person. Its natural to be shy and unsure, but if he disappeared so quickly, he wasnt for you anyway. Sure where was his effort? Its not all on you. I'm sorry you were mistreated, it's time to heal and learn what you want from a relationship and tell yourself, you deserve it. You have plenty to offer. You are worth it. You deserve love, trust, respect, kindness and effort, it takes time to get to know someone and the right person, can draw all tge fun and excitement out of you, it's ok to be awkward, we all are, but you hopefully soon will see you can make someone very happy 💜💕
