What’s the best thing about being 35 and over? :)

I’m a lot older than 35 but I guess the first part was that I didn’t have to pay child support anymore. Although I paid that and a lot more money so my kid could get a good education.

You only get one chance to raise your kids. Don’t screw that up or they might not want anything to do with you anymore.

I'm with @Amanda84 that I don't care about what others think anymore and am a stronger person.

It's not easy 😫 being at the age where you have to take care of your parents and your children both as well as yourself. Being the sandwich generation.  Then also having to attempt to be diligent in preparing for the soon-to-come future years where you may not be able to work and must support your living expenses/medical care. 😨 I think being at the age I am now and given the circumstances of that "sandwich generation" responsibilities, it has forced me to be resilient and strong.

Having wisdom that I didn’t have years ago but learned from experience with life and people as well as being in a day treatment program, God, and the people in my life as well as those gone before me that loved, accepted and loved me alot.

Not being so naive anymore. I used to be the perfect victim for shady people. Now I see right through subtle red flags. It's great for me. But also frustrating having to watch other people suffer through horrible relationships until they figure it out by themselves.

Realising that my life is my own and can live it however I see fits. I travelled the continent, got a furry companion and got into diving ; all that after 35 😉

Being more than twice as old as the time I felt lowest in my life, I'm not 'better' yet but I'm a bit better every day, I feel sad for my 16 year old self but also glad to move forward and never have to return to feeling so trapped and isolated.

Good question...hmmm.

I honestly can't think of an answer. Physically, once you're past 30 everything starts going downhill. I certainly know it through & through.
