What would you do?
If someone offered you a pill and said "You will lose you memory of bad things that happened to you, you will forget about relationships and people that hurt you, and you will get to start a new life somewhere else without those memories" would you take that pill?
@zeetee17 No I would not. I only take them if a doctor, said it was ok, to do so. I hope this answers your question.
Of course not, good or bad it's my memories and I wouldn't be me without it.
@zeetee17 I'd get them to a psychiatrist as soon as possible
@zeetee17 I don't know if I'd ever be able to change my destiny. Even if I end up forgetting it, am afraid repeating is a certainty. So, No.
@zeetee17 No. Bad experiences are part of the learning process in life. We learn to value good moments only when we have had bad experiences and choose to move on.
@zeetee17 yes
Does it get you high though? Cuz I'll take it everyday if that's the case.
That's very lucrative offer. But what about the lessons learned, growth and maturity that came from those experiences?? It would be nice to forget the bad memories but it is scary to know that without the learnings from those harsh experiences I might end up getting in some again.
at the moment I would say yes I would take the pill regardless the advantages of the past experiences and the growth that comes along
