What would you do?

If someone offered you a pill and said "You will lose you memory of bad things that happened to you, you will forget about relationships and people that hurt you, and you will get to start a new life somewhere else without those memories" would you take that pill?

Yes. I would take it for sure. I need to forget them all. It's not because I hate those experiences. Its just because these memories become so overwhelming sometimes that they hinder my everyday routine. They do affect my growth and progress on daily basis. So yeah, I would definitely want to have such pill, at least for now.

@zeetee17 yes I think I would take the pill because then I would forget everything bad that ever happened to me because then I wouldn't be sad

No , I won't . Those experiences made me who I am now. I don't wish to change it .

@zeetee17 if you forget about everything then who are you ? You become someone else then when something bad happened again you will take it and then you will just repeat life and you will just lost , if i think of having only bad memories i'll feel like i'm just having little feeling so how i can feel the pain in the world so i can think and so i create meaning ,,at the end pain is teach us build meaning to this life ..

Certain memories would definitely be worth losing… but in a way, I would keep the memories and search for a better way of processing things so that I could not hold onto them so heavily, because majority of things I have been through have been lessons… just have had a hard time coping. If I could do that better, I believe I would not have such weights on my mind and body

@zeetee17

As much as I hate to say it; and I'm sure others have said it as well; my answer would be no.

I am me and my experiences help me.

Finish and klaar.

@zeetee17 no I wouldn't

@zeetee17 if you asked me the same question few years ago i would talk that even if i had to die the next day but now i don't think I will cause those situations are the part of my life and the things that shape up who i am today.
