I am in a marriage with who should have been the love of my life. It is now ending and he could careless. I am 43and no family or friends. He has all but left already and lives his own life. Depression and anger are always there. I want to live a better life for myself but it seems hopeless to even know where to start

Going through something similar. I'm taking it one day at a time and trying to keep myself busy. It's not easy. I hope this place helps you recover. Stay positive.

I just left my marriage of 15 years. I also have a 10yr old son and it's difficult at times. It's hard but it's way better then staying with him. He ended up being a narcissist and I deserve better. I had to forgive him, so that I could move forward. It took me months but still I feel anger rising up sometime and I want to hate him.

Hope you find your peace.

You should start by writing down all the things that you always wanted to do in your life like learn a language or play the piano. Make a bucket list is what I am saying. Your marriage ending may be the beginning of something better. Keep me updated. I know how you feel because I went through the same thing.

I divorced in 2019 after 12 years of marriage to my high school sweetheart. 3 kids together. Found myself single and in a dark place at age 34. For me I leaned on close friends at a church and luckily had support from my wife’s family. It’s ok to feel all the feelings but don’t dwell there. Find activities that make you happy and feel independent. For me it was hiking and fishing. Take yourself on vacation and do things that you’ve always wanted to.

I have been with my husband for 22 years. My first real boyfriend. He has an emotional affair for prolly 2 years. He says two months ha. Anyway. I’m living in a cold marriage no talking no anything really. So I know where u r. I feel mine to coming to an end and have no real plan on how to cope with this. I pray u find your strength and love yourself through this. He’s the one that’ll b lonely and miserable in the end.
