I was at work having a great time chatting and joking with coworkers felt awsome and confident then I got into my car and looked in mirror and all the shine and happiness all of a sudden faded reality hit hard💔

Hello! I just wanted to tell you that I’ve definitely experienced that feeling before. I would this as support: while you were happily chatting and joking with your coworkers, they were responding to your positive energy - and the positive energy was beautiful regardless of what your hair, skin, etc looked like at that moment! It’s so easy to be the toughest critic of our own appearance- and whatever bothered you when you saw it in the mirror probably looked and felt WAY bigger to you then it did to them. They probably didn’t even notice it. Also, it’s hard to feel beautiful when you look unpleasantly shocked! Next time that happens to me (yikes! Unattended to mom face!), I’m going to remember that someone was brave enough to share that and smile back at myself! 💗

Great post my friend! smileyheart And so.......maybe there was an "aha" moment in there that you missed?

For me, I really think that I wasn't put on this earth to be a barbie doll and that there is much more to me than simply how I look. I really think that beauty exudes from within and I truly have had conversations just like this irl. If someone is highly attractive maybe by societies standards but they are mean spirited, abusive to others, don't have any positive energy, well for me, for some reason, they really don't look quite so cute anymore. And so on the flipside, if I meet someone and if maybe society wouldn't give them an 8 or a 9 or 10 on some sort of attractiveness scale, or whatever the rest of the world wants to think.........that for me really isn't all that important and it's how the interaction goes. The beauty that exudes from within. It seems that "pretty is, is what pretty does" and maybe what the true meaning of the old clique means that "beauty is in the sight of the beholder". angel

We are our own worst critics. And so maybe you simply sat with yourself, looked in the mirror and studied your face and maybe werent' pleased. That was because YOU didn't have the chance to meet YOU! Just silent, dead pan, picking yourself apart. No worries, we all do it from time to time. heart I'm thinking if you could see what the rest of the world see's you would know that you are beautiful and that people are drawn to you. I send you *hugs* heart
