I've delt with anxiety for years and I've been on meds but this last year has been hard. I fiance left me nearly a year ago and with that stressing me I've lost several jobs because of my anxiety, I'm in debt and see no way out. I'm not and never been a self harmer or suicidal. I just feel like I'm in a oit that's closing and I can't get out.

That’s really hard when you are in debt and you can’t see it way forward. Start by trying to have a sustainable lifestyle that you can afford. Then work on setting some aside for paying off the debt a little bit at a time . I know it sounds easier said than done but you can do it. Reach out if you want someone to talk to

@Blw646

Hey there, I'm so sorry you've been dealing with all of this. You've gone through a traumatic event, and are dealing with the after-effects. It's totally normal that you'd be feeling anxious and stressed. It sounds like debt is the first thing you want to deal with. Have you checked out the training courses on 7 cups? There's one on finances here: https://www.7cups.com/managing-finances/ - it could be a good starting point for you. Remember, one small step at a time 💞

I hope everything gets better, from the bottom of my heart. You will be in my prayers tonight! Just now that you got this and everyday is a push towards the finish line.

@Blw646 I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’m currently going through a divorce and can understand the feelings of anxiety and probably loss. I’m here if you need a support system.

@Blw646 Hi Blw. Thank you for sharing. During times like this when you feel everything is crumbling, it is important to remember that you always have yourself and that's always enough. I'm not sure if you are religious person, but believing in God is beneficial or Buddhist mantra of "as long as I have my breath, I am okay." You will get through this because you can get through anything that comes your way. Everything is gonna be okay.

@Blw646 I'm having similar financial struggles and the culture i find around me is not very understanding of earning failures or health challenges so its really hard to work it out all your own... please keep hope... there will be a way out... everything can be sorted out , one step at a time. Focus on your health as that's the key to holding the rest of your life together. Maybe talk to some debt management professionals who can guide you about your options.
