I feel like I will become that grumpy old man.
I feel like I hate everything and everyone more and more each day. The sad part is I'm ok with that.
Why do you hate everything/everyone?

Hi Dude!
Thank you for your post!
I guess for me, I can understand that concept. Has life given you reason to feel this way? Is it that people around you are less than kind, negative people, making life difficult for you? It could possibly be that the people around you are giving you valid reason to feel this way and that could be perhaps why you might just feel fine with it all. But something tells, deep down, deep down in there, you're not really quite okay with feeling this way.
Is it people around you, your circumstances, maybe setting boundaries with them that could change the whole equation? Perhaps getting some distance between yourself and the all of the negativity, whether it be people irl (even geographically), watching the news less, overly engaging in social media and maybe changing that? Is it the covid crisis and having less face to face interaction with good and wholesome people?
Or is it something about you, how you are builit, working with that knawing feeling as in you've always felt this way no matter what the circumstances are?
For me, I kind of think those might be valid questions, just things to consider. Maybe once you think about how and where this is stemming from, maybe you could consider making an action plan? It can be the first step in creating your own destiny. I send big *hugs*
I have over time lost tolerance for lack of intelligence. The level of stupidity I see in people around me. At the store, driving down the road, ect. I just can't handle it. I don't like people anymore but I deal with them as nice as I can when I have to. I have no friends and have not had any in over 20 years. I have not been on social media in almost 4 years. I don't miss it.
People aren't stupid, humans just aren't evolved to live in the kind of environment we currently find ourselves in, and I think what your going through is indicative of that.
There is two of you in the world. Trust me on that. From your point of view, you can be the grumpy old man and I can be the stupid grumpy old man. From my point of view, vice versa.
But don't be too hard on yourself. It is simply not worth it
