Lately, this strong feeling of being lost has come over me. The feeling of not being able to trust anyone's actions or their sworn word. I am a strong believer that your word is your bond and you should be respected off your actions behind thoes words. I have recently been observing the people i am in contact with the most and have felt distrust. I felt as though i am the outcast for various confirmed reason. I have felt alone for sometime although im very strong i find myself pleanty of nights just wishing i can explain my hurt to where someone can understand it. Im not very good at expressing these types of feeling and when i do no one seems to understand. Now i just feel like a scrambled bowl of emotions and confusions and cant seem to go a day without feeling down.

You need time. You need a few more months to resolve your trust issues. Best of luck for you.

I can relate very much to what you're explaining, feeling that you don't have someone to trust and also that somehow you can't explain your feelings to others in a way in which they understand them. I had similar feelings too in the last years, and lately I found that I was looking very hard for someone to understand me perfectly, I felt lonely in my issues and even lonelier when, as you mentioned too, I felt I wasn't able to explain my feelings well.

In these last months I started seeing that it's really very important that first of all we understand our feelings and issues ourselves, and sometimes it's helpful to stop doing anything, just take some time where you can relax and start writing down your thoughts and feelings. And when you feel this is too stressful maybe just start by sitting and relaxing with yourself, without too much concern.

I also noticed on myself that I had this big feeling on loneliness because I didn't have much faith. Now this really isn't meant to be religious, I'm not a religious person at all, but I acknowledged that my mind needed to have faith in God in order to feel stable and to know that there actually is someone who understands me thouroughly and is thinking of me and will take care of me and understands all of my issues even if I don't know how to explain them. And I know that I can trust Him in every situation, in every moment, no matter what's happening and how I happen to feel at that moment. Maybe I'm confused for instance, but He isn't confused and will eventually bring me also to understanding and to feel more clear ideas and relaxed. This idea should be free from any judgemental concept or feeling of blame, just knowing that in any moment you can lean on God and that God will help you go through everything and if, for instance, you need someone to talk to, will also help you find that person.

These thoughts relieved me very much, that's why I felt like sharing them with you, relating to what you said in your post. I hope this might help you in any way! Wish you all the best!

For me, when I use phrases like 'sworn word' I am just setting myself up for disappointment. People aren't perfect and they don't always keep their promises. If you do then you're the exception.

Research shows that a little over half of promises people make are kept. It's not personal, it's human nature. Fighting it will make me unhappy.

It doesn't mean I can't trust anyone. I trust that people will always selfishly choose what they believe meets their needs. If that's keeping their promise to meet their social needs, then that's what they'll do. If they have another need that is more pressing to them, that's what they'll follow. And from an evolutionary perspective that is good survival behaviour. So who am I to expect they'll put my needs in front of their own, even if they've promised?

The promise just means they mean well. But in the end every person will do what meets their needs. We don't like thinking of ourselves as selfish and are taught we shouldn't be. But without that instinct nobody would thrive.

If the people around me keep a little over half their promises, I'm happy.
