Esp. if you know beforehand that s/he has a mental illness. You probably are an empath, a good person, and you think it's your yoke, so you "sacrifice". BUT you'll regret it for the rest of your "life" --I mean living hell. Mark my words. Don't make the same mistake I did 5 years ago :)

Yes very true! We think we're going to be the one to "save them", and be such an amazing and wonderful partner that they will change an become a new happier, stable person. 😂

Sorry, It's not going to happen. People don't change...we'll maybe they will change YOU for the worse after going through traumas they cause you...but it won't be for the better.
