Trying to keep it together
My wife for 15 years told me she doesn't love me and wants to leave. We have 2 sons, 11 and 6, we had a couple of problems in the past but we managed to work them out, but this time she doesn't show any intentions of trying to fix this. What happened is that last year I overlooked her phone and she was looking at her ex's pic. I decided not to comfront her because of the pandemic, but at the beginning of this year she was doing the same, so I told her. Of course she told me it was more than a gossip thing and she got mad, but apparently that was it. 2 weeks ago we were hanging on our porch and all of a sudden she doesn't love me. I know I made a mistake by keepimg that to myself for so long, but we are a great team and we were healing, or so I thought. Now I am going crazy because I don't understand and don't want to loose her because of that dumb thing.
@Bluejavo It sounds to me like she wanted an excuse to leave the marriage. People do not leave marriages for that reason. She looked for an excuse to leave and found it. If she doesn't want to try to make it work, then all you can do is focus on your kids and keep your eyes and ears open. She may change in time.
To be honest I kind of feel I was right and I caught her but with no evidence, and that way she didn't had to admit anything so now I am the bad guy and she now has her excuse
I think it's not important if there is any evidence or not. It is important to try to feel her special, to realise that she is missing something. Why? It's not about her or you. It's about both of you.
I'm sorry to hear that your going through this blue, I feel your pain of going through a marriage breakup...as am I. Its hard, try to keep your head up, think about your kids and try and make sure they know both of you love them and that your always there for then no matter what.
Similar situation, caught my wife sending nudes to several different guys. She also said she didn’t love me anymore. We’ve been married for 15 years and have 2 amazing kids. I stay strong for the kids and do my everything I can to be the best father I can be. As far as my wife it’s a lot of unresolved issues with herself attention seeking, ego, narcissistic behavior. Funny thing is she won’t leave the marriage, I’ve given her many peaceful ways to leave she won’t. Not sure what will happen with us but I know 100 percent I will be there for my kids and do everything I can to make an amazing life for them full of joy and all the Best a kid could ask for.
