advice please

i was supposed to have surgery wed. but it got canceled due to my wbc and platlets being high. so they told me to go to my primary care physician which i did. they didnt do nothing but recheck my blood work. i was wondering do i need to get a second opinion?

@ambitioushope1234 According to our 9-page community guidelines, you are not allowed to ask for advice here. And no one here is allowed to give you medical advice.

Anyway, I Googled the two blood tests you mentioned, and I read that it's possible they are both caused by an infection, which might not have any other symptoms to make you aware of it. I suppose you could check again after a while to see whether the situation has improved. It is very surprising that your surgeon or primary care physician didn't tell you this. Perhaps each of them thought the other had explained it to you.
