Hi, I am new here, I am just needing somewhere to vent and try to get some emotional healing after a lot of trauma the past few years.

I have had several medical issues, including a severe endometriosis that led to a hysterectomy about a decade ago, a few other small procedures that were not related, and then I had a brain tumor 4 years ago.

My dad also died suddenly 4 years ago.

And my family has fallen apart, there is almost no healthy communication between the few of us remaining members (and I am the only one that lives outside of the hometown....heck outside of the one same house they live in....so they are very co-dependent). And now I have my adopted son that I need to learn how to raise and my family has gone no contact as of now.

@Mandalynn4606 I am very sorry for your loss.

It is truly a shock, when a family member dies.

I can relate some to losing family members.

It is painful.

But in time, it does get easier.

But the pain does not fully go away.

Please take as long as you need to morn, grieve and heal.

It is possible to heal after loss.

Again I am sorry for your loss.

I hope this helps.
