Hi I'm 45 been married now for 12 and a half years. We have 2 boys together one 11 the other 7. My wife about a year ago was flirting with this guy from work. She says nothing was going on she was just plaing around. Since then I caught her in a few more lies. I have almost zero trust in her now. I do believe she is telling the truth that she isn't. Maybe I'm a moron but I used to think I am a good reader of lies. She drives for one of those ride share jobs. So now every little thing strange happens I assume the worst. I almost feel the way I can resume my happiness is to leave her and my kids. I dont know what to do. I'm completely broken inside and I can't live like this anymore.

I'm sorry you feel so hurt. You are not a moron. Is it possible she is just changing as a person and you are misunderstanding this transformation? I am here for you, as are others. You are not alone.

My heart breaks for you. Once your trust is broken it's near impossible to get it back. But if you want to try and make it work you will need to trust her again somehow or the doubts will slowly eat at you. There's always that risk you'll get hurt but you need to ask yourself if she is worth fighting for.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Trust is a very strong bond between people. Once its shooked, it never the same again. If you want this marriage to work then please seek for counselling. Perhaps you need to both sit down and talk about it. Going away sometime can rebuild trust and feelings again. I wish you all the best as you sound to be concerned not to break this marriage or leave you kids. My heart with you. Stay strong.

You are not broken. Confront her but be open and let her know it’s safe to talk. Forgive her if you love her, we are all capable of faults. Infidelity is more common than you think, you are not the only one to suffer through this. Tell her you want to be the man she thinks about. Be romantic give her flowers, let her know that she is your everything. Do you like her hair? Tell her. Do you like her smile, tell her as if it was the first time you saw her. Write her a letter, tell her to read it by candle light only. Tell her about your first date and why you asked her for a second. Fight with all your might for the love of your life. Don’t get caught up on trust, love her and let her know that you are her love

@wilk76

i am going through the same thing right now. My wife of 9 years was doing the same thing. My trust in her is gone as well. I constantly want to check in with her or see what she is doing on her phone. I have decided I want to stay together but I am trying to trust her again. All we can do as husbands is treat our wife's as much as possible. Hopefully if we can give them what they need in a man they won't need to look in other places. Try to go back to they way things were when y'all meet. Send her flowers have a date night if you pour your heart into your relationship then you will hopefully win her back.
