Fear of falling or getting hurt

When aging we can become less sure on foot as we were years ago. Our bones might not be as strong anymore as they were once and injuries can eventually increase . This might create a fear of loosing the ability to do things on ones own. Many falls can be prevented by mindfully taking care of how our home safety is and of course status of our body plays an important role.

Do you face similar challenges?

Long time ago I decided to start yoga with the emphasis of balance, one of the reasons was to make me feel safer when going on a ladder

What about you?

@soulsings

I tried Thai Chi some time ago and was surprised how demanding it can be. I believe it is an awesome exercise to engage the whole body and mind.

moving Mindfully is my form of exercise. it's only when i get my head in the clouds (so to speak) that i am at risk of tripping and falling, running into things or banging my foot. i face a great many challenges in movements, so being mindful is the practice that suits me best.

@amiablePeace77 I might be 55 but am still adventurous. Then again I'm lucky with my genetics and still have a few years left before I start slowing up or falls worrying me.
