it is very easy to fall into that rut ........negative thoughts breed more negative i am fighting this too.

Find an outlet ....post here or journal or even try a listener or therapy ... i am finding i need more input / outside input to help me get rid of my negative thoughts.

If you're in this channel, it could a part of growing old. I never thought it would be the case but we lose our natural resilience as we grow older and we need to try harder to stay positive. Whatever you are feeling is never too much. If you had bad things happen to you, it's natural that you will feel bad. And the worse you feel, the more your mind and your body are fighting back, rejecting it and trying to find a solution. Work with your mind and body and do what you can to feel better, to be in a better place.

People talk about accepting your negative feelings, but it doesn't mean giving in and feeling sorry for yourself. The best person to help yourself is you. And no one can help you if you don't want to do anything about it.

Your negative feelings and worries are your body and mind telling you that things are not going well. Do as many things as you can to make yourself feel better. It may be a slow process but the more you try, the stronger you will be, and you will grow in wisdom. That is what life is all about. Just hang in there and do your best for yourself.

I've been feeling the same way lately... I'm currently distracting myself by hanging out with my brothers. We went to the mountains earlier, now eating a small meal at a fast food restaurant before we go to the next venture. It's been helping me keep my mind slightly off what's bothering me...if I wasn't broke right now though, I probably would have taken a self-care day and spent it alone. I'm actually quite introverted, so being alone is fine, I just don't like feeling lonely.

What do you normally like to do?

Perhaps listen to music, go for a walk, take a little road trip, journal, surround yourself with loved ones, etc to keep your mind off of what's bothering you for the time being.

Hi. I know how that feels. Im still trying to get over someone and its been months. You just have to really help yourself. Easier said than done bt thats the only way. Find things that will keep you busy. And most importantly, talk to someone about your feelings. It will help.

Hello Try!

i hear you loud and clear tonight. I am in the same boat actually. It’s so tough trying to negotiate what is “normal” when you have no sense or role model of what that would be.

Hope you are staying afloat of your feelings! The brain and the heart are there to help you 💕 hang in there friend 🤗

There's no normal except what's normal for you. There's no role model that's better than your heart and mind. We all know what's good and bad, and if we don't, there's lots of advice out there you can listen to and decide what works for you. I really like how we're reaching out for one another in our own fallen states and helping one another. Good on you.
