How do you cope with a passive aggressive spouse?

Frustrating I know. I don't understand why a relationship with a spouse has to be so hard sometimes. I generally get along with everyone that I meet. In fact I go out of my way just to get along with others as much as I can. But I'm just not understanding why she has to make life at home so hard and just learn to open up and be a loving spouse. It's not that hard is it?

That can be unhealthy. It really helped my friend to see people model assertive communication and healthy ways to express emotion. Maturity helps too. I hope this helps some. Bad communication habits can be hard to break...so education is key.
