Taking Care of Your Appearance
Just because we are advancing in years should not mean that we cant do it in style. When you see yourself in the mirror and find that you look good, you feel even better.
There are different ways to make us feel better,one of them can also be to dress up occasionally. I remember saying that if you ever feel yourself getting a little down, put on your favorite dress or pants, lace up your nicest shoes, and show the world who you are.
What do you think?
Do you dress up occasionally and does it make you feel good when looking into the mirror?

Nah. So long as my clothes fit, don't have holes/stains and look reasonable then I'm good. This not to knock people who do and they do look nice. But it's just not my personality.
@amiablePeace77 yes dressing up can be fun. I like events like going out dancing or to dinner where I dress up.
Unfortunately there is another side of dressing up that is not so much fun, funerals. That means I tend to dress down most of the time.
@soulsings
I too prefer very casual at home too but once in while when getting into that mood I like to dress up.
Getting dressed for a funeral is surely something else.
@soulsings taht's true about funerals sometimes. Dad's I was in greens & blues instead of black or purple. Mum's funeral my aunt insisted I wear black and I knew mum wouldn;t want that so I had my brightest red blouse with my black suit.

spend most of my time in jammies or trackies as I work from home but it is nice to get all dolled up once in a while and not because of a funeral. I've had two weddings, an engagement, graduation and a 21st so far this year and another wedding coming up. Hope that doesn't mean the end of getting all kitted out.
I haven't dressed up in years - no place to go so no reason to dress up!
take your smile everywhere you go. ( not an fake one).
..because a natural smile is the best thing to wear
@onerandomguy
and you will always look beautiful with it ![]()
@amiablePeace77 yeah
there's not better dress or makeup than that
and those are really nice ones to go.
