(Thread closed) Day 9: Do you have genuine respect for yourself and who you are as an individual? and if not, how can you change that?
I do respect myself but not always. It really depends on whether I've done anything wrong recently like breaking down a square while square dancing I feel like it is something I should have tried a little harder in plus level so what I have been doing is also reviewing the different steps for the calls online and helping out at lessons for new dancers for mainstream.
Do you have genuine respect for yourself and who you are as an individual? And if not, how can you change that?
@DanaMH my self respect too much depends on the outcome of what I am working for. I am moving towards self acceptance recognizing that I am doing the best I can under the circumstances I am working.
I respect myself the majority of the time. When I catch myself not respecting me it's usually because I've not taken care of my physical needs like sleep or food. Something I will be more vigilant about . Help! I've lost day 8- I think it was about food. My new favorite food is sweet potatoes. I wouldn't try them a year ago. Now I eat them every way imaginable. Even made a sweet potato maple soup. So if this is what day 8 was please count this there😀
@mutter3
Mutter I am not going to remember to look at day 8 stuff here LOL You can go to this link and respond there please.
That is great that you do respect yourself the majority of the time and going to be working on more physical needs.
@DanaMH no problem. I found the elusive 8th day😀
Do you have genuine respect for yourself and who you are as an individual? And if not, how can you change that? Over the last year I have come to have much more respect for who I am as an individual, and who I am as part of a relationship. It has been a major change in my life, and I am now doing much better.
It depends on the day. I would say I have more respect for myself then I use too. It's slow and steady.
