One lesson is that you really never know what your children's world looks like but be assured it looks nothing like your own.😳
@Nowhour to fill in the blank I thought I had taught them Love , Respect, Understanding, and a since of Belonging. I failed for they do not know that their mother loves them no matter what they are doing, have done, or will do nothing could make me love them any less.
Being pleased with where I am right now.
When I was younger, I always looked for happiness around the next corner; when we get a house; when we get the truck; when we get the kids to a certain age; when we get enough money saved; when we get our credit cards paid off; when we can do x,y,z...
Happiness was so fleeting. I have finally learned that I can be happy right freakin' now. It's a nice place to be.
