3 things to connect are to give my friends and family a call, zoom meeting with them, meeting them safely in person.
My name is Swordpsalm and I am turning 50 this December. I am a former glider pilot and architectural designer and music minister. I have been on a 2 year sabbatical from my Masters of Divinity studies due to health and financial reasons. I am trying to find work in architecture in Canada.
I am also a Christian and have been on 7 Cups of Tea for about 2 years now, I think.
I have schizophrenia and sleep apnea.

@amiablePeace77, 1. I asked an email-pal directly, but as nicely as I could, if she is backing away from me. She has told me that she backs away from people in life, and sure enough, it seems to be what she is doing with me. I'm hoping I can bring some clarity and honesty to our relationship. 2. I checked in with other email-pals who I haven't heard from in some time. 3. I need to listen more to people I work with whom I like so show them I care.

I hope that things with your email-pal will get better, seems like this person is isolating themselves which can be a rough place to be.
