My earlier suggestion was a novel.  For those who are looking for something more research-based, there is The Optimism Bias by Tali Sharot.  Based on research in neuroscience, it shows that we are wired for optimism… Even if some days, it is more challenging to connect with it! 😉While she presents research results, it is not like reading academic papers and fairly easy to understand. Enjoy!
