@SunShineAlwaysGrateful  Have you ever found that personal growth involves shedding certain aspects of yourself or your life? How did this impact your journey? 

This happens a lot because I have wrong views that have been with me for a long time. 

I have had to examine my beliefs and ask "Is this really something I can believe in or is this just a story I made up?"

I have had to get rid of my lack of self confidence to be more assertive and speak my mind when appropriate. I now don’t feel like I’m being ignored so much. I have more self respect. It’s been hard, but worth it.

The desire of impressing people led me for years to not recognize myself and discover what I like the most. I spent my teenage and my twenties in trying to be like the others, but not myself. Now I feel I lost my time, and walked in the wrong path, and I can't neither fix the past not live the present and the future.
