When I was young I had a red swimsuit and truly loved it. To me it represented energy. It is still one of my favorite colours but do not wear red clothing anymore. Nowadays I prefer green, orange and earthy colours.

I don't remember any special colors back then but now I have a Lavender bathing suit that I love.

The weather has been so off and on with rain and too hot days to really enjoy the pool this year. I am getting ready to shut it down until the spring arrives. Got to pack that bathing suit up till next Spring.😊

Sounds like a good idea. It's no fun being in a pool when the sun is beating down on you unless you go very early in the morning or late in the eve.
I never had a favorite outfit but I did have a favorite color, when I was younger. It was red, "fire engine red"...
These days my fave is a blue-green shade, maybe turquoise. My theory is the change is due to lower testosterone with age, as much as anything else.

Interesting point about how hormones can affect colour choices! "Fire engine red" is a very expressive colour. Blue-green shades and turquoise are definitively more on the calmer side.
I don't remember many outfits from childhood. One I remember because it was in a flashback.... so not going there. Sitting here thinking about this though...I use to wear a white top with elastic around the top so you could wear it off your shoulders too. It came down to the middle of my belly with elastic around the bottom. Good questions but I just am not into remembering much about clothes from my childhood

Yes, a little triggering, but still wanted to try and support the discussion. I wore that top at my grandma and grandpa's. That was always my happy, safe place. Lots of good memories there. Just surprised that I really don't remember a lot about the clothes I wore.
My favorite swim suit was a royal blue and white one. It was a hand me down ( as were most of my clothes as a child). Now except for work, I wear bright colors when I can. I do wear yellow sneakers at work though!
