@DanaMH yes we are all recovering from our lives and all that we have been through trying to get back to who we really are.
How are you recovering? I structure my life so that the activities anchor me in what helps me feel better: exercise, yoga, doing what needs to be done.
How are you helping others recover? I hope my work here at 7cups helps people find a method or a practice that will help them find their own balance and grounding in the life that works for them.
@soulsings
I agree that we are all recovering from our lives and all that we have been through and trying to get back to who we really are.
Anchoring yourself by doing activities (coping skills) is so great and exercise and yoga are great things to do. In addition, to deciding on doing things that need to be done to help you cope.
I think you do a wonderful job helping and encouraging others on 7cups and keep up the great work!
I think my recovery is just watching the desire of newness and how that keeps cycling in careers/exploration for me. I feel like that is the ultimate thing I must deal with and Im so close. Its like whats behind door #3?. Can I be strong enough to not open the door? Can I choose my next job based on the needs of those in my locality?
As for helping others, I just continue to listen when a moment presents itself. I dont gave much contact right now, but whatever my next job will be will present more opportunities.
@Zengrl
I agree that recovery is part of the desire of newness and to change things and glad to hear that you are close. I agree sometimes it is a surprise of what is going to happen and like your saying of whats behind door #3?
I am glad that you are helping others and continue to listen. Hope you do find the new job soon that will present more opportunities
@DanaMH
Dana, thanks for doing all these helpful posts and the work you are doing for everyone.
Hi, how are you doing? I feel content, doing great atm.
How are you recovering? I recovered very well from some things, others still need work.
How are you helping others recover? Dana, I do the best I can deep down from my heart. Atm all I can do is staying in contact with a friend to help who is living far away.
@amiablePeace77
You are so welcome!
Glad to hear that you are feeling content and doing great atm. Recovery can be a challenge sometimes and some things we do very well and other things we need to do more work at also.
That is great to hear that you do the best that you can deep down from your heart. That is great that you do keep in contact with your friend to help who is living far away. Sometimes those far away it is hard to know what is going on with them also since we don't have the face time with them.
@DanaMH
Dana true, the distance can make it difficult but I know my friend for 45 years now so I can feel instantly when she is not okay.
Sometimes listening is all we can do.
@amiablePeace77
That is a special friend having them as friends for that long. Hope they are ok.
