Adjusting to ageing

I feel young inside my head, but my body gets tired and sometimes my knee or back aches. I thought physically I would feel 35 for awhile. I am exercising. I take vitamins.

@BookishWendy

Nice that you feel young inside! We can't stop our body from aging but we can do the best we can to age healthy and part of it is exercising and making sure our bodies get what they need. I too feel very young but here and there my body tells me "Take a break, you're not a spring chicken anymore" 😃

Yes I think in our mindspace we don’t feel by older. We do feel like we always did.

The body does age and knees and backs are especially troublesome. Exercise keeps function and it is soo important.

I love nature getting outside to walk in my province.

What types of exercise do you enjoy?

Being tired is a thing as we age as well. I am 56 and I need more sleep nowadays helps me cope better.

Great advice on exercising and vitamins self care is a great thing. Age is just a number embrace the joy where you can.

I think that nothing changes in our heads as we age, so at 50+ we feel young, but our bodies may already be letting us down a little bit. This is absolutely normal. From my own experience, I know that the main thing is how you feel inside and how well you can take care of yourself at a certain age
