This weekend I am trying out my therapist CES Oasis Pro to see if I would like to purchase one. You can find out more info at www.mindalive.com if anyone is interested in reading more about it.

@amiablePeace77 thanks for this weekend checkin

enlightenedWhat about sharing your personal experiences about Positive self talk I love to tell myself things to inspire me "You are doing the best you can under the circumstances." "What did I do right?" "Whatever they say cannot possibly encompass who I am."

enlightenedWhat mindfulness activity helps you to sleep better? I like to read an inspirational or spiritual chapter before I go to bed. Gets my mind thinking in the right direction.

@soulsings

What did I do right - I believe that is a great question to direct our focus on something positive about us and boosts self-esteem too.

I can see that taking care of your spiritual needs, particularly before bedtime, gives you peace and allows you to sleep better.

Taking hormones helps me to sleep at night. As for other activities—reading and replying to 7 Cups.

@Zengrl sounds good. My sister takes Melatonin and that helps her. I usually do Tai Chi, read, and meditate and that helps me sleep.

@Zengrl

There are lots of things we can do to help sleep but sometimes the body just needs a different help, like e.g. melatonin.

I am glad, hormones help you and using the other tools is a good idea too.

I have to work overtime today. I slept well last night, I have been sleeping well almost every night. I have not yet tried mindfullness exercises, but it sounds like a good idea. They do seem to relax me.

@Offmytrack sorry you have to work overtime. Hope it helps at the end of the week.

Here are a bunch of mindfulness videos if you care to take a listen. https://www.7cups.com/forum/MindfulnessSupportCommunity_106/ResourceLibrary_1062/

@Offmytrack

Working overtime can be hard for the body, so mindfulness exercises would be a great idea to help to destress. I would love to hear how it goes.
