Taken for granted!
First, i have a problem with my family we are part of those broken family because my dad cheated in my mom thats why we only have our mom. As the years pass by our we already accepted it that we dont have a dad, but sometimes there are time that i feel so jealous of the other because they have a complete family, they have a father that always there to protect them while us we dont have.
The main reason why i need someone to talk my problems because i feel so taken for granted always im the bread winner of our family since highschool i dont ask money for my mom until i graduate cause my ex bf supported me that time he became my ex bf because he cheated on like what my father did to my mom thats also a trauma to me because he always says to his friends and other people what we've done like sex he always make fun of me since we broke up like im good in bed like that im so ashamed of my self because of that.
As the time pass by my mother get a job like she will become a comaker of those people who wants to loan/lend money then she'll have a commision and salary. At first her job was okay but when the time comes that those people who lend money dont pay we have a problem my mother get broke because shes the one who will pay for those money because shes the one who lend it to other people based on the contract if you lend it to someone as a comaker youre the one who are responsible for that. So to make the story short we have bo choice to stop out studies i have 2 sisters and 1 brother im the oldest. Me and my 2 sisters get a job from the other place which is far from where we live we always give our money to my mother in order to pay her debt. As the months years pass by until now were not done paying it why? Because we dont know if my mother paying for it when we are giving out money because the head of the lending/loaning is always suing because of her debt. Until my mother said to us she dont care if they want to get her to jail then go. As a children of her we feel sad because we did our best but my mother dont care about our sacrifices.
My mother met a guy they're became lovers but the guy is a married man. They lived in the same roof until the problem came his children chatting us that my mother is a slut also our aunts they're chatting them. Thats why i separated them i have a condition with my mother that if we separated house then we live together they will stop communicating with each other yhen she said yes. I sacrificed my savings that ive saving for 3 months to find a house that we'll rent. We already in the same house until i caught my mom always seeing the guy, chatting, calling, texting and seeing the pictures posted by the guy. I feel so sad because i feel so taken for granted
@Shiee
It must have been hard for you growing up without the support of both parents and also to see what happened between them. So sorry to hear that you had to go through the same ordeal with your ex bf. Betrayal can cause deep wounds. I hope coming here will help you to heal.
You seem to have given all your life to support your mom and siblings. The feeling of not being acknowledged but taken for granted hurts. Do you think it could help to talk more about your feelings in a 1:1 chat with a listener?
@Shiee As a listener on 7Cups, I’ve seen how easy it is for good people to be taken for granted. Patience mistaken for permission, loyalty mistaken for weakness. A friend once asked, “What did you take from your parents?” I smiled, “From my father, the giving heart and loyalty that doesn’t ask why. From my mother, the kind spirit… and maybe a little beautiful foolishness..” Hahaha
I know where you’re coming from, brother. I’ve seen it all, you gave everything, yet were defamed by the very people you would’ve defended without even thinking. But God sees it all.
وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
“And they planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners.” (Aal Imran, 3:54)
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْخَائِنِينَ
“Indeed, Allah does not love traitors.” (Al-Anfal, 8:58)
And when God shows you their true colors, He makes room for greater blessings. He fills your life until you whisper, “God, that’s too much kindness for one man to carry.” Every blessing is sharpened by a storm.
They tried to paint you as the villain, but time unmasks everything. They didn’t find something greater; they simply fled from the truth they couldn’t bear to face. Always remember, Some doors you close once, and never open again.
I always say it, I’ve seen what some people are capable of, and trust me, it’s worse than the devil himself. You learn, you grow, and better things are already on their way.
