How do elder orphans cope during the Holidays?

I’ve spent the Holidays alone so long, being at McDonald’s for Christmas just comes natural by now!
what coping strategies have you come up with?
@caringFriend1962. Are there any 50+ adult centers where you are? That can be a good way to meet new people. There is one near me they even had a Christmas party for us older people and it was very nice. We also have some meetings here in the 50+community. If you are interested I can give you the schedule.

Soo glad you posted here …. So sorry 🤗 it is very tough figuring out what to do to make it special.
I got an idea though if you are game .., how about a forum party for you here a Merry Christmas one on Christmas Eve and Day ??? I would LOVE to do that for you!!
We can have food, greetings, wishes and virtual cards and dancing definitely dancing !!!
