I have a question to older parents in this group

Hello everyone! I'm a daughter of a mom, she's 64. I been wondering is there something you feel lack of or that you need something at this stage in life that a family member cound give?

Maybe you feel like you need more hugs, maybe having activity together, money, trip, certain household furniture. Or maybe at this stage people enjoy time alone and having a family member around is not great. I'm asking because if I ask my mom of course she will say that she's fine and doesn't need anything, and perhaps, that is true, but what if there's something she's not telling.

P.S. we live together, so spending more time with family is out of list 😊

@katehome.  Most people that I know that are older like spending time together with their adult children and having conversations with them in person or by phone.

@katehome

I am not a parent but I am older 😃. Often older folks miss being hugged or be told something nice. Quality time together is the most precious gift but you say that you're living together and it is off the list.
