Welcome to our community

Hi, I joined here three days ago, I am 52 years old. I live in Northern New England with my husband, dog, Parrot, two Horses and five laying Hens. I am trying to live with multiple mental health issues and just doing the best I can, I guess. Hopefuuly, I can learn some additional new coping skills as my life is honestly kind of chaotic at the moment and I have many things pulling me many different ways at once.

Hello there @Breezy213! Welcome to our community!
Give a look at our discussions, maybe any of them may be of help : HERE
@Breezy201
also in northern New England. Already snow on the ground. 57 single (again). Worked in mental health but struggling myself these days.
@ConnieRN1963
Hello, welcome!
Sorry to hear you are struggling lately.
Feel free to text me in case you want to share about your difficulties.
Cheers!
New to this site. Bipolar; finally ready to admit it. Started seroquil last night. I've taken an antidepressant for 12 years but definitely need something to smooth out the ups and downs. More downs than ups unfortunately. Partner is also significantly depressed and going through a physical health issue.
thoughts, suggestions, sure can use a shoulder right now
@ConnieRN1963 sorry to hear you struggle with depression
How about exercise and high protein diet? Those help me cope on rough days.
@soulsings
i have a treadmill for the cold months. And a gym membership which I need to get back to now that it's open again. Working in a hospital during 2020 has been challenging in many ways. And when I get home I pretty much isolate. Single ... again.
forcing myself to get up and moving more
@ConnieRN1963 thank you for your service in the hospital. Frontline workers like you are contributing to saving lives.
I hear you about isolating. Working of any kind can take a lot out of us.
Hope you get the support.you need.
@LoveMyRotty hello I'm zack I just joined today
@Zack24763 welcome!
@LoveMyRotty Hi.
@butterfly054 nice to meet you!
I'm kind of new here...in the sense that I registered a long time ago but just returned after an extended hiatus. Would love some friends who enjoy deep conversations but like to laugh too. Feel free to send me a pm any time. Love and light to you all. 💖
@Phoenix777 one of the best ways for members to talk to members in discussions. Here is the schedule of some wonderful discussions. For laughter, the Open Chats are best as other discussions tend to be more focused on discussion questions.
@soulsings I prefer real-time chat rather than a forum format. Any options here or do we not have live chat rooms? Still trying to find my way around here...
@Phoenix777 what I gave you is live chat but the rooms only open for discussions.
in addition there are Live chat rooms
@soulsings thanks so much. 💜
