Homeless
I am 50, depressed and recently was evicted. I've been living in the cheapest long-term stay hotel i can find but now I'm completely broke a week before payday. I don't know where to turn.

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation, hugs. Not having a place to go to at night and feeling the pressure of financial stress is a lot to cope with. I hope there will be a solution for you. Let me know if I can help with any links for homeless shelters or free groceries, I would need to know your country though.
Thank you. It's a scary time for sure. I'm in the US, Austin, TX. I've looked for resources, I know they exist but I feel the worst when I start to look and I then tend to try doing something less depressing. Weird how sometimes doing something that could help improve my situation makes me feel worse and so I find a rationale for avoiding it. On a positive note, I'm not giving up. I've got 2 interviews for significantly higher paying jobs later this week. I've got a good resume, good experience so I feel optimistic but the end of this horrible situation seems to be pretty far away.

I know.. I mean I've been hpmeless to several times and as recently as 2 years ago.. No one would help me.
I certainly understand and glad u found this app.
If I could.. I would help u but Im not in a cery good situation myself but the reason I replied is because I do understand, I've een there, so if u wanna talk Im here.
