Changes in Long-Term relationships

Any relationship we are in whether it is marriage or dating changes as time goes on. This begins by knowing everything about our partners and learning ways to deal with the differances. Relationships will change as times goes by and develop into a long-term relationship. This also can include family and friends.

Relationships go throguh changes in time. It can cahnge during difficult times, fanancially or through conflicts we have with others. Stressors can change a relationship in a negative way drastically. What are some changes in a relationship?

one person in a marriage may not want to have chicldren.

A partner may want to move somewhere else and you do not.

A partner may have a physical or mental change in their life.

Changes in work schedules conflict with yours.

How do relationships progress:

The honeymoon phase:

This is when two people can not spend time away from one another, they want to be with then constantly.

The coming together stage:

When two people in love combine their relationship and life into one. 

The power struggle:

When a natural change becomes difficult in navigating. what made a time happy and exciting becomes a struggle to deal with

The Commitment stage:

This is when a rleationship hits a rocky road and both partners enbter a phase of understanding mutual respect. 

The Co-Creation stage:

When you and your partner team up to take on the world and not let anything break the two of you up.
