Can you recall instances when you felt mentally drained even though you hadn't done much physically?

Are there specific tasks or goals that make you feel fulfilled even if they leave you feeling exhausted?

Hi, Grateful,

Yes, I feel exhausted every day due to life being so tiring.

But, if I can manage to do laundry, or clean I feel tired out but fulfilled.

When one is depressed, empty fatigue seems to be a default state. Yes, I can push myself to do things, to the point of exhaustion, but depression gets worse afterwards.

Can you recall instances when you felt mentally drained even though you hadn't done much physically?

I feel mentally drained every day due to dealing with certain people at work. There really isn't much "physical" involved.

Are there specific tasks or goals that make you feel fulfilled even if they leave you feeling exhausted?

Bike rides, working out and exercising. I always feel fulfilled and accomplished after a work out. When I did a landscaping project on my yard a while back, I was physically exhausted yet felt fulfilled because there was an end result I could see.
