Looking back, I guess I would have discovered the joy of relating to people much earlier in life.
Looking ahead, I hope to find a way to be more compassionate and kind.

I would have forced my husband into rehab somehow, in time to save his life.

@Learning64-it is admirable to have wanted him to go to rehab- but we all know it is impossible to force an adult against their self destructive free will. Please take care of yourself- you are what matters now.
