2 New Safety Coordinators - Heather & Power!

I am excited to make a special announcement today! As you know, we have been looking to hire two part time safety coordinators! You can learn more about this role here.
Today, we are excited to announce that we have officially filled these roles! Please join me in welcoming Power & Heather to our team!
@Power - is an old friend moving into a new role. Power has worked tirelessly on behalf of the community. He brings kindness, creativity and thoughtfulness to his work on 7 Cups. He will be moving into the more formal role of Safety Coordinator. He will continue to work on the community inbox, but add some additional time to his schedule to be around during nights and weekends to support you all! Please join me in welcoming Power to this special role!
Heather - @Heather225 is new to the 7 Cups community. She comes with many years of experience as a community management professional. She has worked with other large online communities and brings a wealth of knowledge to her work. Lets give Heather a big 7 Cups welcome!
Heather & Power will be tasked with the following duties:
-- Building out the Safety SubCommunity & volunteer team
-- Managing the community inbox and rejected user process
-- Supporting the speedy parsing of reviews
-- Online in the evenings & weekends for proactive active moderation
What will they be doing during active moderation times?
-- Managing the group support emergency forms (both adult and teen)
-- Hosting pop- up discussions/ being present in the rooms & forums. They are available to help de-escalate active safety situations
-- Monitoring all the review queues
-- Monitoring the flag forum queue
-- Creating conversation in the safety Subcommunity
What is the active moderation schedule?
Monday 7 - 10 PM EST: Heather
Tuesday 7 - 10 PM EST: Heather
Wednesday 7 - 10 PM EST: Heather
Thursday 7 - 9 PM EST: Power
Friday 7 - 10 PM EST: Power
Saturday 4 - 7 PM EST: Power
Sunday 7 - 11 PM EST: Heather
During these times, you can reach out to Heather & Power to let them know about a safety issue on the site.
Well be hosting AMA sessions with both Power and Heather this week to allow you all to get to know them better. Stay tuned for dates and times!

If/when Power is not around when he should be, uh, we will then consider that a 'Power outage', lol, and we will wait patiently until Power is restored.
