A note on community guidelines

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to make a post highlighting 3 points about our community guidelines.

1 ) Everyone is required to abide by the rules set in our community guidelines; no exceptions. You can review them here. Additionally, our Terms of Service are linked at the bottom of the site.

2 ) Confidentiality is important and will be respected - we all should respect and honor confidentiality. Please remember that we do not discuss behavior reports of other users. Behavior reports will be discussed on a one-on-one basis and only with the person involved.

3 ) Its okay to feel hurt when someone leaves the community - leaders, listeners, volunteers and even CMs feel hurt, too. I feel hurt. Losing a valued member of the community is always hard, but ultimately we all have to be accountable to those rules and do not want people to feel like those in leadership positions are above the rules (as we have heard that feedback in the past as well).
