New Ambassador: Yendi!
It is with great excitement that we announce a new ambassador to our team!
Yendi has been a member of our leadership team for long time. In fact, a few of our current ambassadors used to be Yendi's mentor! Yendi is kind and dedicated to their work! They are supportive, non-judgemental and uplifting in all their interactions. They are creative and thoughtful in their problem solving. As an ambassador, Yendi will be focusing on the teens. Previously, they have worked to make the transition process from the teen community to the adult community smoother, ensuring that more teens feel comfortable aging up. This is an important project and one we know will continue to thrive.
(Note from @Iara) Yendi is a super star when it comes to going above and beyond! She has a passion for helping teens build connections and friendships like no one else I know, she works hard to make everyone feel welcome and safe in the community. Yendi also does her best to make sure everyone gets recognition and appreciation while also being willing to help anyone that might ask clear and realistic feedback on what they could do to become the best version of theselves. While I had my force hiatus (because of the Hurricane!), Yendi stepped up big time! She made sure the new teen mentors got their badges, their training and even took the extra step to follow up and make sure they were feeling supported and welcome. Her outstanding ability to adapt and surpass any challenge tells us she has a lot to teach us on how we can best support our teens that age up.

Where do I even begin with congratulating you @Yendi. These past two years have shown me how much someone is capable of growing and how much someone can give. You're a compassionate incredible individual, who goes out of there way to make sure everyone around knows that their thoughts and ideas are heard and validated. You'll make a perfect ambassador yen, you've made it so far and I'm ever so proud of you. Thank you for always getting up when things got hard, for always coming up with solutions when things don't go the way they planned :p The teen community wouldn't be the same without you, your willingness to create change and to help the teens grow is wonderful and unique. I don't think I've ever met anyone as committed and dedicated as you boov <3 Congratulations for making it to ambassador, if I told you two years ago in cr that today would come we both would have laughed it off and sent memes to each other :') but times have changed (we low-key still send hugs and memes) and you've definitely grown not just as a listener but as an individual!

I want to find a word or phrase that shows how much I am thankful for you. One of the few people who I still know up to this day, the person that always have stood by me, helping me, supported, bounced off ideas, chat about who knows what, sending memes and gifs (always). Most of the things I know now is because of you, you too have helped me who I am today. Thank you so much Bob, loaf you too so much ❤︎

@Yendi OHMYGOD! I just woke up and this is the first thing I saw. Omg yendi, I'm so shocked and I don't know what to say. I'm so so so so proud of you. OMG! I wanna cry 😭 You have grown up already!!! You totally deserve this role. I agree with what people said and are saying. You always make sure that teens are comfortable and inclusive in TL. You always reach out to me to ask what's going on in the support rooms and in TL especially because there are only a few listeners around during past midnight EST. OMG, yendi!
