Do you get any help from a caregiver, if so what's their relationship to you?
How do they make your life easier?
You can say a few words here about them or better yet share how you will show your appreciation to them personally.
I get care from many people, although most it's in a professional setting. I had a private nurse at home once and someone else with medical supplies a very long time ago.
My biggest caregiver is my husband, although he doesn't like to think of himself as one. He used to help me with my regular IVs before I switched to subcutaneous and will still help when I need them for an attack. He does the things around the house that I cannot. He will bring me food when he's around and I need to be in bed resting. He will help apply my topical medications and does my B12 injections.
Since he doesn't like to be recognized as a caregiver I'll just remind him I love him a little more this week and maybe I can find a healthy treat that he likes lots too!

@ReclusiveReptile Thanks! Like everyone else, we're not perfect but I think our relationship is quite strong.

@AffyAvo yes I get lots of help from a caregiver, I have POTS meaning I get very dizzy and faint, so shes there to catch me and make sure Im ok, also, when I need to rest she makes sure I have everything I need! Shes my best friend.

@AffyAvo it really does help. I feel bad relying on someone though. Sometimes I need help getting out of bed and walking around

My Sister is my caregiver. She took over as my caregiver after my Mother passed away. I lack energy most days, and she helps to save whatever energy I have, by helping me get ready. It's been a hard transition for both us, and it's changed the dynamic of our relationship as Sisters. It's something I am still coming to terms with. Despite that, I am thankful that she is here for me, and I appreciate that she tries to be patient with me as much as she can.
@TrueArrow Yeah, I imagine that would be a tough transition, sounds like it's working out fairly well though, despite both of you needing to readjust to the changes.

My sister is one of my caregivers as Well. She does alot for me and I really appreciate her and my family's care even if they go a little overboard Sometimes lol.
Hi everybody I'm Skye, I recieve alot of care from my Family older brother 15 and younger sister 9 and mom and dad. There awesome.
