Dinner With Our Alumni: azulaDragon34

Hello all and welcome to another interview dinner in our LDP alumni series. This week's alumni is our very own @azulaDragon34!

azuladragon34 has been a listener here for nearly 2 years! They hold many roles, from being a Group Mod to Room Supporter to even a LDP Mentor! They also host both adult and teen member sharing circles as well as adult listener sharing circle. With so many skills, azulaDragon34 enhances our community in no way than another. I am excited to have been able to get to know them during my course on here and I am sure everyone else would too.

What was on the menu? Roasted chicken with potato wedges and sauteed beans and carrots for them and some roasted potatoes for me!

What made you join the LDP?

I joined it to improve my skills to become a great leader and maybe for the ticks haha!!

How was your experience doing the coursework?

It was excellent. I learnt a lot about myself as well as what to expect when you are a leader on 7cups as well as in real life.

Did you find it easy to navigate through the forums for each course?

Yes, I did.

How did you dedicate your time to doing the coursework?

I dedicated about 1 to 2 hours per day.

Which course did you like the most? And why?

I loved the Community Builder course. It was interesting and easy to do. Not to mention practical in everyday life!

What role did you get into after the program? How are you liking the role you got into for the LDP?

After completing LDP I applied for Room Supporter. With the new skills I gained from the program, I found the role to be easy and fun.

If you had to give one tip to the current trainees, what would that be?

Have fun but take a break. If you need to talk to somebody, reach out to a LDP Mentor.

What can we do to make the program better?

Nothing really. However I would suggest more meetings with the LDP team and the trainees.
