HERPES
I hope to help people on herpes! I have been strugling with it for 2.5 years now.
If I can ask -how did you get it?
Thank you so much for creating this thread, @pollyanna1 ! Is there anything you'd like to share with someone who might be struggling with the same issue as you are? Maybe something only an individual withpersonal experience with herpes would know?
I've been living with Herpes for 5 years now. My outbreaks are non-existant and only had the 1 initial outbreak that led to my diagnosis. I consider myself very fortunate! I like the idea of this thread, thanks for starting it =)
@ZariahI’m very excited to inform everyone that I’m completely cured from HSV1&2 recently. I have used Oregano oil, Coconut oil, Acyclovir, Valacyclovir, Famciclovir, and some other products and it’s really help during my outbreaks but I totally got cured from HSV1&2 with a strong and active, herbal medicine ordered from a powerful herbalist called Dr Isaac and it completely fought the virus away my nervous system and I tested negative after 14 days of using the herbal medicine. I’m here to let everyone know that herpes virus has a complete cure, I got rid of mine with the help of Dr. Isaac and his herbal exploit. Contact him via email: drisaacherbscure2 @ ***. com

I have had it for over 20 yrs, I got it when I was a teen from a very unrespectable partner, that very very abusive to me and wanted to keep me from leaving him. After I got away from him, I educated myself on what he had given me. I am happy to say that I have never given it to any one because I would not want to be responsible for ruining someones life. So I found out what triggers it, and with me its stress so I try and keep my emotions in check. I have told every partner I have been with. I have had a health baby also that has nothing wrong with him and is fine. My baby is now 20 yrsold and lives a normal life, I never passed it on to him. Its not that bad you just have to take care of your self and educate yourself about it.
Thank you so much for sharing your story, @Bears14! I'm sure people reading this thread will feel encouraged by your comment. Congrats on your healthy (adult) baby! ;)
I have HPV and had my cervix cut a few times b/c after a PAP, I had abnormal cells, then a LEEP test, then they had to cut a piece of my cervix. This was like, 3 times within 5 years. In 2012, I got pregnant, but lost the baby at 5 mos and 3 wks. My water broke early so they could not sew up my cervix or it would cause an infection .. I was doing narcotics at the time as well .. so was it the problem w/my cervix that caused my water to break early or tha fact that I was taking a lot of narcotics? I had serious drug problems ..

Oh well. I've had it last 2012 and it really sucks. I even declared my death 'cuz it's just unfathomable I CAN"T EVEN! So I educated myself about it. Been avoiding its triggers and all that. But before this year ends I'm so gonna take that igG test to reconfirm it 'cuz my doctor just told me I have it without showing me the test results and I'm not having any outbreaks since. I understand these buggers can lay dormant inside us but something tells me that I should get an igG test. Why? 'Cuz lately I've been triggering it to resurface. I ate lots of chocolates, nuts, and other foods that are high with arginine, plus I drank vodka, was under stress, and sleep deprived BUT I'm still perfectly fine. So yeah..igG test it is.
Looks like I found my corner in the world :) Another herpette here - caught this exactly a year ago.
I had my first outbreak in April. I've had 3 more since then. 4.5 months!! I know people say it gets better but it has been so relentless it is getting hard to be optimistic that it will. I'm on daily meds now but still getting symptoms. I'd love to be able to talk to others who have gone through this. The only person I have to talk to about it is the guy who gave it to me but he's never had an outbreak- just symptoms that he recognizes in hindsight. Sometimes I feel he doesn't understand what I'm going through. My small town has no support group :/

I promise it gets better! I've had it for two years now, and I have outbreaks every few months. It's hard, and I feel like no one gets it. My boyfriend has it too, but his outbreaks are never as bad as mine and it almost make me frustrated. I had to really get to know my disease to understand how to prevent it. I got it the first time I had sex, and I was 16. I had to grow up fast, but it forced me to get to know my body, and take care of it. My advise to you is this: When you start getting the symptoms (itchyness, sensitivity, sores, etc) Gently rub witch hazel all over the place of the symptoms. It burns for maybe 10 seconds, and then instant relief of burning and especially itching! Non scented feminine wipes are a life saver! Keeping your lady business clean is SO important, you can use them every few hours! Keep it VERY dry, having your infected area moist only causes the sores to get worse. Coffee, Chocolate, soda, nuts, stress, periods, and emotional issues are all triggers. Drink lots of water, take your meds when your symtoms come up, and stay away from the triggers if possible! Rest. Stay clean. Eat healthy. Smile. It will all be okay! <3
I'm 20 years old. I was just diagnosed about two months ago, in July. I've never had sex without a condom and my boyfriend had never shown a single symptom. I've only had the one outbreak that led to my diagnosis. He broke up with me about 3 weeks ago and the situation has recently been really hitting home. I have like no one to talk to, because I've only told two really close friends and it's hard to talk to them about it. They don't have much to say other than I'm sorry that really sucks. My mom doesn't even know that I'm sexually active. I haven't done that much research because it's hard for me to think about and I don't really want to accept the situation. I haven't talked to my doctor except for when I was diagnosed because I don't want my mom to ask. I'm scared no one's ever going to want to be with me again and I'm so lonely and depressed.
Oh DoReMi , I understand your fear, and it is very scarry. Just keep the trust with yourself honest, accepting it is hard and you feel people will laugh or think of you as a desease. My suggestion is get info on this, look it up on line, understand it, it will help you to understand it better, and when you tell your future partners about it, at least you can educate them about it. Just let them know that when you break out you can't be active. There a lot more understanding people out there than you think . Men are scared of the unknown, so just level with them you will be alright. Hugs keep smiling and keep an open mind. good luck
