Japanese. Japan has such a fascinating culture, from its traditional arts and architecture to its modern technology and pop culture. I think knowing the language would be incredibly helpful when enjoying anime, manga, and delicious sushi

Mandarin. Since China is our only near-peer competitor, its government has ambitions to become the next great world power & as its economic strategy (to say nothing of what's going on in the South China Sea, the Uighurs in western China, etc.) has been directed toward that end for a few years now, I can't think of a more useful language to know than that.
