I’m so mad all the time after quitting smoking
1 month nicotine free and I’m so ducking mad ALL. THE. TIME. everyday I wake up and I try not to be ducking angry but the LITTLEST. things will piss me the F off and I just can’t anymore. I’ve resorted to pulling out my hair, scratching myself, hitting my head to try and take out that anger on myself and not my poor boyfriend. I still end up taking it out on him and it makes him sad which makes me sad and then I just become depressed for the rest of the day. I can’t do this anymore I want my normal personality back and I want my old life back. I’m literally in tears writing this I want to

Thank you for sharing this with us here.
You are so strong to keep going despite this. I am also an ex smoker and I am also angry all the time. I was using cigarettes to cope with the anger for so long that I forgot how to deal with it on my own. Thank you for sharing.
Are there other ways of avoiding the withdrawal? I try quitting cigarettes but a minor problem will lead me back to smoking and I hate the smell of cigarettes on my breath, fingers and clothes. Some say chewing gum, others say candy... but what really helps? My boyfriend has so much faith in me but gets disappointed everytime he smells it on me when we kiss.
