Love addiction
When you finally let go, the feelings are overwhelming. Like losing something attached. In tears, and this is just the beginning. Hoping not to repeat this dreadful cycle of love addiction. One by one I'm knocking down each barrier that's blocking me from my inner peace. Thanks for listening.

Do you have plans on how you're going to do this?
I'm rooting for you...
@777Bre777 I plan to do a lot journaling, attending 12 steps, and 7 cups. Replacing negative behaviors, thoughts of my addiction with something positive or some other activity still in the works. That’s the plan.

It sounds like you've got this. I wish you all the best.
@quietSail4939 i wish you success and strength to go on :)
Hey, just wanted to see how it’s going with your love addiction. I am literally in the process of trying to get past my own love addiction with 7 cups, praying and 12 steps. Any tips or advice? Thanks
Since then and more so 2025, I started looking into attachment styles. Like secure attachment, anxious attachment etc etc 2023 I met a dismissive avoidant unbeknownst to me. It initially looked safe but after cycling through his distance, avoidance—— it uncovered my anxious attachment style. It’s the worse relationship dynamic to be in. So maybe it wasn’t so much love addiction but me anxiously attaching then not receiving or having needs met. If this makes sense.
