Addicted to relationship /limerance
I was with someone I absolutely adored. 4 years and I was obsessed with him, spoke all day, met often, he had such and addictive personality. He met someone else and dumped me and felt like my world fell apart. He was such a big part of my life. One year on I still obsessively think about him, but there's nothing I can do. He's moved on and discarded me. Simply because he met someone he said he preferred more. I spiralled into depression and one year on still struggling. I feel indenial and can't accept and make peace with it. Idk if it limerance towards him but I always seem to fall into same cycle. So I've been avoiding men as I know I fall for the same type, who are charming love bombers.

Love bombers are the worst!
Insincere.
Fickle!
Four years and then to throw it all away without a second thought for you!
That's horrible behaviour.
You deserved better!
I know it's hard but all men are not the same!
You need someone whose not shallow words but who follows through with actions
Who makes you feel safe!
Loved.
Prioritised.
Who gives you butterflies .
Who makes you see them truly, not infatuation, not lust, real, solid love, that doesn't make empty promises.
You deserve to heal and meet someone truly deserving!

When something breaks apart we miss not only the person...... but what could have been.... or what we pictured in our mind of what would happen.
I find after a major change in life ......I used to and sometimes still think of do-overs, if i had done this or that ......Or the idea of "I will show them" etc.... We are keeping things/ person alive in our mind .... this inhibits healing and moving on.
Start fresh .... picture a future for you ... if a role for a partner think of that as to be cast later.
That's definitely saddening. You must be going thru alot. The amount of pain that you'd have to deal is incomprehensible. But if you need someone to talk about it or just to make you feel better. Just a message away!
