Clean for a few weeks but feeling empty
I've been clean with regards to my addictions, intrusive thoughts keep coming to my mind but I have been distracted enough to not act on them. I've noticed social media is the only think that really starts triggering the urges. I'm happy I've been clean for some weeks, however, I'm struggling feeling very empty, there's this void in me that needs to be filled and I'm really having a hard, hard time handling this.
If anyone has some advice, I'll happily read you.
Thanks for clicking and reading.

Pardon me, what arvise do you need? How to feel your emptiness?
@RedOceanSun
No how do you guys cope with the feeling of emptiness without caving in your addiction.
@Gian94
First of all i want to say if you are at the begining, to feel emptiness is very normal. All your life is starting to change step by step. And i wouldn't recommend to replace the emptiness with something: sport, love, eating etc. Instead i would say you'd bette watch yourself, what kind of changes are happening, what your emptiness is really look like etc. Taike your time, don't hurry.
@Gian94
I don´t understand. What kind of emptiness? People can feel empty, and do even without substances.

Right, sorry, I mostly feel this empty feeling related to being not loved, unwanted, like I'm nobody's number 1 choice for anything. I don't know if that makes sense.
I totally get your feeling of emptiness. I went 2 months then 1 year then another 4 months without my addiction and seriously never shook that feeling unfortunately! It's so hard to describe though so I completely understand where you are coming from! It's almost like FOMO but not! I Get It.
Im staring down another long stint away from my crotch and the scariest part for me coming up is that emptiness that you describe! Nothing can fill that void :(
